Chocolate Chip Cookies
My favourite choc chip recipe by LiaLoa Cookies

Ingredients:
230g slightly softened unsalted butter
200g brown sugar
100g granulated white sugar
2 large eggs
2tsp vanilla
3/4tsp salt
1/2tsp baking powder
500-560g plain flour
130g chocolate chips
Basic Cost to make: Approx £TBC

Equipment:
Stand mixer with beater attachment or a hand whisk
Scales
Lined Baking trays
Spatula
Rolling Pin
Cookie Cutter(s)
Cooling racks
Method:
Line cookie/baking trays with parchment paper and set aside.
Preheat oven to 175c (fan)
Cream the butter and sugars together
Add the eggs and the vanilla and mix thoroughly
Add the salt and baking powder and mix again
Add 500g flour and mix well. Stop here if you are going to chill the dough overnight, or just wait for another day to bake it.
If you are going to roll it out right away, add another 60g of flour and mix again.
Gently stir in the chocolate chips to distribute evenly
Roll out dough and cut shapes as desired, place on baking sheets and bake.
Roll to 1/4" thick, bake for about 7-8 minutes.
Roll to 3/8" thick, bake for about 10 -12 minutes.
Bake until dry not golden!


Notes:
HOW LONG ARE THESE COOKIES GOOD FOR? - It depends on how they are stored, but generally you can expect these cookies to taste fresh for about 7-10 days at room temperature.
